Afetto na CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2025

Affetto at CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2025

The invitation that changed history

Some invitations carry the weight of transformation. When, two months ago, Afetto received the call to participate in CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2025, the feeling was exactly that: something special was about to happen. It wasn't just about setting up a children's room in one of the most relevant architecture and design shows in the Americas.

It was about writing a new chapter in the history of children's design, bringing Afetto's purpose to a stage where innovation, aesthetics, and emotion meet. For us, who were born with the mission of creating authorial furniture that unites affection, sophistication, and functionality, being at CASACOR meant more than visibility.

It was an opportunity to show the world that children's design deserves to be in the spotlight — not as a detail of the decor universe, but as a protagonist in a dialogue that combines architecture, child development, and emotional memory.

This is how the challenge of creating an environment that translates everything we believe in was born: a space that welcomes, inspires, and moves. A room that was not just a beautiful setting, but an invitation for families to dream together.

The birth of “Maria’s Dreams”

Named Maria’s Dreams, the children's room created by Afetto for CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2025 was born from a simple and profound desire: to honor childhood as a territory of discoveries, affection, and imagination.

Every detail was designed to translate this poetic universe. From the choice of color palette to the authorial furniture, everything was designed to convey the idea that design can be both functional and enchanting.

The name of the environment was not chosen by chance. “Maria” is a timeless name that crosses generations and cultures, carrying with it the simplicity and delicacy of childhood. In “Maria’s Dreams,” we find not only the physical space of a room but the metaphor of all the stories that parents build with their children.

There, each piece of furniture carries the proposal to go beyond aesthetics. The Montessori Evolutionary Bed, for example, is more than a decorative item: it is a reflection of Afetto's commitment to accompany each phase of the child, offering autonomy, comfort, and security. The same goes for support pieces, such as shelves, chairs, and adornments, which, more than occupying space, dialogue with the routine and child development.

The power of partnerships

If there's one thing CASACOR teaches in each edition, it's that great projects are not built alone. They arise from the meeting of talents, the sum of different perspectives, and trust in a common purpose. And that's exactly what happened with “Maria’s Dreams.”

The project had the partnership of architects Fernanda and Carol, who brought their sensitivity to translate Afetto's DNA into every architectural detail of the room. Alongside them were names like Regina, from Algoducci, who contributed with her expertise in fabrics and finishes; Gabriela, from the CASACOR team, who was an essential bridge and support throughout the process; and Mauricio, CEO of CASACOR Ribeirão Preto, who believed in the power of children's design as the protagonist of the exhibition.

More than suppliers or collaborators, each of them was a fundamental piece of an ecosystem of solutions that strengthens when working together. This is one of the greatest lessons Afetto takes from CASACOR: the certainty that when stories intersect, something much greater than each individual idea is born.

In every testimony collected during the exhibition, the message was the same: design gains power when built in community. And it is in this collective strength that Afetto believes and is inspired every day.

From sketch to real environment

The journey of bringing the “Maria’s Dreams” room to life was marked by emotion, challenges, and, above all, dedication.

It all started on paper, with sketches that already carried the essence of Afetto: authorial lines, delicacy in details, and functional intelligence. But transforming drawings into reality within CASACOR required more than creativity: it took planning, technique, and, of course, resilience.

Behind the scenes, it showed how much every choice matters. From defining the furniture to installing decorative elements, every decision was guided by the question: “how can this detail make the space more welcoming and meaningful?”

The making-of of this process revealed the beauty of something that often remains invisible: the collective work that happens behind an enchanting environment. There were intense days, last-minute adjustments, and a keen eye to ensure that every corner translated Afetto's essence.

And, in the midst of all this construction, a detail emerged that moved everyone: Maria's Diary, carefully arranged in the environment, reminding us that, behind every piece of furniture, a story is being written.

A design that goes beyond aesthetics

At Afetto, we believe that children's design needs to fulfill a role that goes far beyond aesthetics. It must be functional, safe, stimulating, and affective.

The “Maria’s Dreams” room was designed with exactly this philosophy. Every piece of furniture and every architectural detail were planned to create an environment that not only pleases the eye but also supports the child's development.

The Poem Montessori Bed, for example, invites the child to explore their own space with autonomy, promoting independence from an early age. The soft colors were chosen to create a calm and cozy atmosphere, while also stimulating imagination. The adornments and playful elements, in turn, transform the space into an invitation to play, learn, and dream.

This balance between aesthetics and functionality is what differentiates Afetto's children's design. It's not about following fleeting trends, but about creating timeless pieces that accompany the child's life in different phases, always with the same quality and beauty.

More than that: we believe that design is a tool for connection between parents and children. It is in the well-designed space that stories, moments of affection, and memories that will last forever emerge.

The impact and legacy

Afetto's participation in CASACOR Ribeirão Preto has already begun to leave profound marks — and the most beautiful part is that this impact is still under construction. Since the opening of the exhibition on August 19, we have received enchanted gazes, words of affection, and emotional testimonies from those who visit the Maria’s Dreams room.

For partner architects, the experience is an opportunity to see how children's design can indeed be a protagonist in high-standard environments. For end customers, the space has become an invitation to rethink children's rooms not only as places of rest but as territories of development, autonomy, and affection.

And the best part is that the journey is not over — on the contrary, it is just beginning. Until October, thousands of people will pass through this environment, get to know Afetto's purpose up close, and be inspired by how design can transform families' routines.

More than visibility, what CASACOR offers us is the chance to reaffirm our role as a reference in authorial children's design. The “Maria’s Dreams” room is not just a showcase, but a declaration about the future: a design that welcomes, evolves, and creates memories.

At CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2025, we continue to show that purpose comes to life when we combine talents, ideas, and dreams. And we invite everyone to live this experience with us as it unfolds.

An invitation to dream together

The story of Afetto at CASACOR Ribeirão Preto 2025 is, above all, a story of encounters. Encounters between brands, architects, clients, and families. Encounters between form and function, between aesthetics and affection. Encounters that created an environment capable of moving and inspiring.

When we look at the “Maria’s Dreams” room, we see more than furniture and decoration. We see the materialization of a purpose: to transform children's design into a complete experience that combines beauty, functionality, and emotional memory.

And this is just the beginning. We invite you to dream with us. Because we believe that design only makes sense when it creates bonds, awakens feelings, and generates positive impact.
